New Employee Welcome Guide

Welcome to SESC! We are glad that you have started a career with us and look forward to many years of working with you.

 

As a new employee you will need to fill out, read and sign a lot of documentation. This welcome page will help guide you in completing this process. Below are directions and links to several pdf forms which must be filled out. You may fill out the forms online, save to your computer, print them out and sign them. Once you have completed the "whole" packet mail the originals to the main office attention: HR Department AND email copies to the human resources department. Remember these documents must be hand signed.

 

Here is the first document that helps guide you through the process so you do not miss any steps and all documentation is presented in the order in which we need please print this out and mark the items off as you complete them. "Starter Guide Check List"

Employee Handbook


 

To start the process it is essential that you read the entire handbook if you have any questions/concerns or other please email the human resource department before you fill out and sign the documentation. You should have been given a handbook upon your acceptance of an employment offer within SESC or you may have been instructed to download the handbook at this location.

Within this guidebook there are certain pages that must be filled out and completed after you have read the above guidebook please fill out the pages below in regards to the Sexual Harassment Policy:

General Documentation & Basic equipment:


 

     
  1. Employee information sheet
  2.. W-4 Form ----To withhold the correct federal income
tax from your pay. Consider completing a new Form W-4 each year and when your personal or financial situation changes.

  3. Criminal History Check
  4. Military Base Pass Information Form
  5.. Business card request form
  6. Logo Apparel Request Form
You will be able to order 4 logo shirts, one hard hat, and one saftey vest for your probationary period. You will need these items to complete your work.
  7. Request For Email Form
  8. You will need to have hard toed boots for your first day on the job. Keep your reciept and after your probationary period is over and you are hired full time you will be reimbursed up to $70.
  9.. You will need to attach a copy of your U.S. driver’s license;
State-issued non-driver identity card;
or U.S. passport.
  10.. During your career at SESC there will be times when you will have a scheduled Dr. appointment, want to take a personal day or vacation, have jury duty or other. Before you plan on taking days off you will be required to fill out a form to have management approve your leave.   11. While working for SESC it is critical that we log our hours we work for each project in which we service. You will be able to access this online time card through the website on the employee resources page. You will need to log in and complete your time card everyday. You can view the time sheet login webpage HERE You will be issued a username & password when your files are added to our system.

  4. Hawaii HW-4 Form
  5. Contact the office and make an appointment for your physical
  6. Contact the office for your background check and make an appointment

Submittal of the documentation:


 


  1. Make sure that you have downloaded the "Starter Guide Check List" and have completed all items. Place this sheet on the top of the stack of information. Follow the items in the stack as they are presented in the "starter guide check list" they must be in order for processing.
  2. Email all forms in jpg or pdf form to the Human Resource department

In the subject line place: New Employee: State location of your main office (HI or Guam) and insert your first and last name.
  3. Mail all originally signed forms to the main office for processing:
